New H2020 project looks at automated vehicles, dynamic platooning and network management: MAVEN - Managing Automated Vehicles Enhances Network |
The MAVEN project, Managing Automated Vehicles Enhances Network, kicked off in Brussels on 20-21 September. The project expects to cover a wide range of subjects, including the role of road side equipment (eg, traffic lights); interaction between the infrastructure and automated vehicle in terms of functions such as speed advisory, platooning or lane change advisory; and, the impact on vulnerable road users (pedestrians and cyclists), among others.
