Dear Polis members,
On 20-21 September, the new H2020 project MAVEN, on automated vehicles, dynamic platooning and network management kicked off in Brussels. MAVEN is organising a stakeholders workshop for local authorities on Tuesday, 15 November in Barcelona to discuss and review the preliminary system concept, use case descriptions, and assessment and demonstration plan. Read more about it in this newsletter.
This month also saw the start of the SEEV4-City project, which focuses on the demonstration and take-up of green mobility solutions and services in the North Sea Region. Cities, electrical vehicles, renewable energy sources and ICT-services are at the core of the project.
As you saw, we sent out an update of the Polis conference programme at the beginning of the week. Make sure to register as soon as possible and benefit from free entrance for up to three representatives. Also check out the interesting side-events taking place on 30 November, prior to the AGA! You can register here. And last but not least, I am pleased to announce you that last CIVITAS Insight 20 on Cities’ role in introducing clean vehicles and alternative fuels authored by Polis has been published!
