Dear members,

Over the last two days, Polis members met in Madrid to discuss the key challenges cities face when operating bike sharing schemes, with a particular focus this time on how to finance and promote such schemes, as well as how to include pedelecs. We will report in more detail in the next InfoPolis and express many thanks to our host city Madrid!

Today, the Polis-EPA parking working group is meeting in Brussels, while last week, the Polis Road Safety Working Group met in Paris in conjunction with a joint Polis - International Transport Forum workshop. Read more about these successful events in this issue!

Polis' Florinda Boschetti contributed to the 3rd experts meeting on on 25 April. The initiative is led by European Cyclists’ Federation, a draft blueprint is available.
