Improved mobility for older people - EUR2 million prize to win! |
The European Commission's Horizon Prize for Social Innovation will reward the best solutions for improving the travel mobility of older people: EUR 1 000 000 will be awarded to the best solution and the four runner-up prizes will receive EUR 250 000 each. The prize was launched during the “Opening up to an era of social innovation” conference in Lisbon on 27 November 2017. Submissions will be accepted until 28 February 2019 and the prize will be awarded in the second or third quarter of 2019.
