Dear members,

Before InfoPolis embarks on a short summer break, I would like to highlight our next Working group meetings to look forward to:

  • Polis-EPA Working Group on public parking, 14 September 2018 – Prague. The meeting will be preceded by the EPA-Polis annual urban workshop on the 13th, which will gather about 80 professionals discussing recent developments in parking.
  • Polis Working Group meeting on clean vehicles, 18 October 2018 -Paris. The meeting will focus on hydrogen as an alternative fuel and is organised back-to-back with a joint CleanMobilEnergy and SEEV4-city workshop. The day after there will be a session on "Electromobility roll-out in cities" at the AUTONOMY and the Urban Mobility Summit.
  • Polis Traffic Efficiency & Mobility Working Group meeting, 25 October 2018 - Greenwich (London).  The WG meeting will be organised back to back with a workshop of the MAVEN project (24 October) dealing with the traffic management implications of highly automated vehicles.

Last but not least, I invite you to consult the freshly released draft programme of our annual Polis conference taking place on 22-23 November in Manchester (UK) and to reserve your seat as of now!

Our bimonthly newsletter will be back on the 1st week of September.

I wish you a pleasant read and, above all, a pleasant and relaxing holiday break!

Kind regards,

Karen Vancluysen

Polis Secretary General
