Dear members,

I am pleased to announce the date for our annual highlight! After a successful 2018 edition in Manchester which welcomed more than 500 participants, the 2019 Polis conference will take place in Brussels on 27-28 November, with the AGA being held the day before, 26 November. More information will be published on this page. Make sure to block your calendars!

The new Polis Small and medium-sized cities (SMCs) platform established in autumn 2018, will have the first webinar on 25 March 2019 from 14.00 - 16.00 CET. We encourage our SMC’s in the network to join the webinar to discuss the way forward in promoting SMC’s as testbeds for innovation, and define priority topics for exchange with your peers.

Other Polis events lined up for you in February, are the webinar on EU policy on transport data access taking place tomorrow, 7 February; the Polis Working Group on Governance & Integration about new & shared mobility services on 25-26 February, and the Polis Working Group on Clean Vehicles & Air Quality on the 27th. Both of them are taking place in Brussels. Please, visit this page for further information.

I wish you a good read and hope to see you soon at one of our upcoming meetings!

Karen Vancluysen

Secretary General

Polis Secretary General Karen Vancluysen participated in and gave an input presentation at an ITF expert workshop on CO2 mitigation measures for urban transport on 31/1-01/02 in Paris.
