Dear members,

I hope you had a relaxing summer break and are all set to engage in the upcoming Polis meetings and activities!

Let me highlight the Working Groups meetings coming up in September, which are the EPA-Polis Parking Working Group meeting in Malaga on 20 September and the meetings of the Polis SMC Platform (Small and Medium-Sized Cities) and Polis Working Group on Clean Vehicles & Air Quality in Bilbao from 25 to 27 September 2019. On this page you find the full overview of upcoming Polis Working Group meetings.

On the EU institutions' side, an important agreement has been reached on the procurement of clean vehicles. The revised Clean Vehicle Directive dated 20 June 2019 sets out national minimum public procurement targets for clean and zero emission vehicles. Member States must transpose it to national law by 2 August 2021. A short update is available in this newsletter.

Last but not least, don’t forget to register for the Polis conference taking place in Brussels from 27-28 November with the AGA scheduled for the day before. You can find additional information on this page.
