Dear members,

This week saw the release of 2 important Polis position papers on current EU transport policies:

Based on Polis members' views, Polis' position on Clean Power for Transport has been published and presented to the European Parliament on 18 June. The position paper refers to the European Commission's Proposal for a Directive on the Deployment of Alternative Fuels Infrastructure (COM (2013) 18).

Secondly, the position paper on open transport data relates to the European Commission's ongoing work on the ITS Directive, for which Polis and its members formulated recommendations. These and all other Polis position papers are available in the policy section of the Polis website.
