Joining us at the conference you will learn about findings from Europe's cities and regions, help shaping Polis' agenda parking, health and open data, and hear transport Commissioner Siim Kallas giving a key note speech!

Representatives from more than 40 local and regional authorities across Europe registered already. To make sure to benefit from this learning and networking opportunity we urge all our members to register quickly for the conference before all seats are taken!

CIVITAS Forum kicks off the next stage of the EU initiative: CIVITAS Capital

The 11th edition of the CIVITAS Forum took place last week in the City of Brest which also marked the beginning of the next stage of the CIVITAS initiative with CIVITAS Capital. The forum also placed the spotlight on two Polis members, Bologna and Aalborg, who proudly received recognition for their work to improve sustainable mobility during the CIVITAS awards ceremony.

European Mobility Week and Do the Right Mix: working together for cleaner air

Thousands of activities have taken place across Europe as part of European Mobility Week 2013. DG Move's Sustainable Urban Mobility Campaign ("Do the right mix") played a large part in the week, with events to encourage citizens to think about how their transport choices affect air quality and how changing the way they travel could improve their health and well-being.
