Editorial
Dear members,
This week's InfoPolis is an interesting mix of news from inside and outside our network - starting with the extended deadline for submitting your paper to the Annual Polis Conference. You are invited to do so until 11 July.
Some fresh news from the institutions as well: in its first session today, the Transport Committee of the European Parliament has elected Michael Cramer as its new chairperson. Important news for public transport come from the EU Commission, which has published an interpretative framework for its directive on public transport passenger services.
And finally, I am happy to invite you to three workshops that Polis organises on bike sharing, infrastructure vehicle communication and parking later this year. More information and the possibility to register can be found below.
I wish you a pleasant read!
When you are logged in as a member to the Polis website, you will have access to a considerably enhanced database of documents, events and news compared to the public website.
Contact us if you do not know your login details!
Yours sincerely, Sylvain Haon Secretary General
