Editorial
Dear members,
I am delighted to welcome two new members to the Polis network: Nantes Metropole in France and Thessaloniki's Public Transport Authority (ThePTA) in Greece both joined the network in October. We look forward to a fruitful cooperation and exchange!
You can read more about the five latest members that joined the Polis network in this InfoPolis.
We are also pleased to inform you that the Italian Minister of Transport, Maurizio Lupi, has just confirmed he will join us at the 2014 Annual Polis Conference. The current president of the Council of the European Union will complement an impressive group of high level panellists including the Spanish Minister for Transport, Ana María Pastor Julián, Madrid's mayor Ana Botella Serrano, and the International Transport Forum's Secretary General José Viegas, to name just a few. Read more about the 2014 Conference panellists here.
Finally, I take this occasion to urge all our members to register quickly for the Annual General Assembly and the Polis Conference in Madrid if you have not done so yet! Registration will close on 17 November, so make sure to secure your seat!
I wish you a pleasant read.
Yours sincerely,
Karen Vancluysen Executive Director
